Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Langley, B.C. as a Casual - Community Respiratory Therapist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care services to patients in their homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic testing, disease management education, and respiratory intervention to patients with respiratory dysfunction.
- Formulate and document patient care plans, based on assessments and diagnostic test results, to ensure safe and effective application of respiratory equipment and procedures.
- Assess patients with respiratory limitations for appropriate home oxygen/respiratory therapy and respiratory equipment, and organize follow-up assessments as required.
- Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide information and access to alternative therapy and resources.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences, COPD rehabilitation classes, and community respiratory meetings as required.
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care (CBRC) credentialing exam.
- Eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).
- Two years' recent related experience in respiratory home care, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current CPR certification and a valid BC driver's license.
