Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting our products and services to customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional and courteous service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Sell and promote Cogeco products and services to customers, identifying sales opportunities and providing solutions to meet their needs.
- Process customer transactions, including scheduling and inputting order requests using compliance tools.
- Deliver face-to-face customer interactions that will entice customers to select Cogeco as their sole provider of Cable TV, Internet, and phone services.
- Highlight the features and benefits of all Cogeco products and services, demonstrating sales behaviors as trained.
- Promote and up-sell products and services to both new and existing customers, using various sales techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Make every effort to retain customers who express their wish to cancel their subscription or reduce their level of service.
- Resolve billing inquiries and service discrepancies, crediting and debiting customer accounts as necessary.
- Responsible for accurate data input using prescribed applications and processes for all customers' add, move, and change requests.
- Responsible for asset management, including returns, exchanges, and distribution of all Cogeco equipment at the storefront.
- Actively participate in corporate-initiated selling skills training and new procedural enhancements as part of the position requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of sales and customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Performance at a high standard, consistently meeting or exceeding all Key Performance Indicator (KPI) expectations.
- Ability to build genuine connections with customers and provide a winning customer service attitude.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to identify, analyze, resolve, and/or escalate customer inquiries or issues.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and resolve problems independently.
- Flexibility required, with respect to hours of work, as they may be required to work rotating schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and general holidays.
