Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Retail Banking Sales and Service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and prospects, identifying their needs, and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers and prospects, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Needs Assessment: Identify customers' needs and provide advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their individual needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of personal banking products, practices, and trends, and integrate this knowledge into customer conversations.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders to deliver the desired customer experience and achieve overall business objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex issues to senior colleagues as needed.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, responding to changing customer needs and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Post-secondary degree or certification in a related field of study is desirable.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary, but a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers. Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists.

  • Competitive Salary: $33,500.00 - $43,500.00 per year, depending on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
