We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Closing the Gap Healthcare, you will work independently with adult clients in their home settings, providing face-to-face and virtual sessions. You will have full control over your schedule, allowing you to build a flexible and fulfilling career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessments in a home setting using standardized assessment tools based on presenting impairments or diagnoses.
  • Design care plans using evidence-based information, best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.
  • Partner with clients' family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding care goals and service plans.

We value an independent and flexible Speech Language Pathologist while providing a dedicated support and training system. Our hybrid model of care allows you to choose between face-to-face and virtual sessions, giving you the flexibility to balance your work and personal life.

In this role, you can expect:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology from a recognized post-secondary program.
  • Current active registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Flexible and good organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytic skills.
  • Multi-lingual language skills are an asset.
