Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef Manager to join our team at DOABA Sweets & Restaurant.

About the Role:

  • This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff supervision.
  • They will also be expected to maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen.
  • This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement menus that are aligned with the company's vision and values.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standard.
  • Maintain accurate records of food inventory, supplies, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior chef role.
  • Proven track record of success in menu development, kitchen operations, and staff management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with local laws and regulations regarding food safety and handling.
