Role Overview

Humber River Health is seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our dynamic team in Medical Imaging. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing CT and Interventional Radiology procedures, operating various equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and Interventional Radiology procedures according to established protocols.
  • Operate and maintain various medical imaging equipment.
  • Prepare patients for exams, obtaining consent, and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Present images to radiologists for reporting via PACS.
  • Foster a safe working environment by adhering to radiation safety practices.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in good standing.
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred.
  • CT and Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.
  • Previous experience in CT and Interventional Radiology preferred.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • IV certification required.
