This full-time temporary position as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team in the Department of Medical Imaging. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive accurate and timely imaging results, contributing to the hospital's academic mandate by advancing care through teaching and learning and/or transforming care through research and innovation.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $83,400-$105,600 CAD.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for performing imaging examinations in the CT modality, adhering to established standards and policies of the Department and the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
- You will operate imaging equipment efficiently, with attention to detail and high-quality image production.
- You will collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimize imaging outcomes.
- You will implement proper procedures for patient safety, radiation protection, and infection control.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current registration with CMRTO.
- BCLS certification (Basic Life Support) is an asset.
- Post-graduate experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is recommended.
- Experience in CT and Angiography is an asset.
