Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Data Product Specialist to join our Strategic Transformation team at National Bank. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and innovation through data-driven solutions.

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for acting as a Product Owner for complex projects, translating functional requirements into deliverables. Your primary goal will be to maximize value delivery while considering constraints and interdependencies with other projects or sectors.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a Product Owner (PO) in complex projects, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives and contributing to the achievement of the roadmap for solution development.
  • Build and manage the product backlog to achieve business vision, prioritizing the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for the delivery team based on business value.
  • Accompany and support adaptation to change, obtain buy-in from others, and manage resistance to change.
  • Continuously make improvements and fixes to the product to enhance the experience and meet current and future needs.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess industry-related education and relevant work experience. Specifically, we are looking for candidates with:

  • Industry-related bachelor's degree and six years of relevant experience, or an industry-related master's degree and four years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in solution delivery as a Product Owner (P.O.).
  • Ability to work in Agile mode: Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and deliver without having all specifications.
  • Ability to evolve in a data environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate information and ideas effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work through ambiguity.
  • Customer- and user-centered approach in daily work.
