Data Center Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Vantage Data Centers in Montreal, QC. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of electrical and mechanical systems within our data center.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and repair of industrial electrical and mechanical systems, including emergency units, electrical distribution devices, UPS, HVAC systems, and building monitoring and control systems.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements.
- Developing and maintaining work methods, standard operating procedures, and emergency procedures for critical installations.
- At least three years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of operating, maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and testing critical electrical distribution systems, HVAC systems, and building management/automation equipment.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical engineering plans, understand connections and single-line diagrams, and communicate effectively with technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and automatic building control systems.
- Fluency in English and French is preferred.
- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
