About the Opportunity
The Physiotherapist will work in a tertiary care setting, assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients who present with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities. The Physiotherapist will develop holistic treatment programs using exercises, education, and manual, mechanical, electrical, and hydrotherapy techniques to assist patients in regaining and/or maintaining an optimal level of function.
About You
We are looking for a qualified Physiotherapist who has a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university. Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists is required. Computer skills, annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification, and WHMIS training and certification are also necessary. Competencies in other languages are an asset.
Hours and Compensation
The Physiotherapist will work on a permanent, full-time basis, with 75 hours bi-weekly. The hourly rate is $33.96-$44.39. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
