About the Opportunity
Nova Scotia Health is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in the Rehabilitation Services department. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough medical histories and performing standardized tests to determine physical diagnoses
- Developing holistic treatment programs using exercises, education, and manual, mechanical, electrical, and hydrotherapy techniques
- Communicating with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers regarding health promotion, physiotherapy treatment, and patient management
- Providing supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervision of physiotherapy assistants and aides
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university. Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists is also required. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are essential, as well as competencies in other languages, with French being an asset.

Hours and Compensation
This is a permanent full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. Shifts include weekends in a rotational schedule, and some travel between sites may be required. The hourly rate is $33.97 - $42.89, and successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
