SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

The Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB) is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about community development and social services.

As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in connecting with our target clientele and providing support services. Your ability to work with diverse populations and think critically will be essential in this position.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • A High School Diploma is required for this position.

Experience:

  • At least one year of pertinent experience working in a similar field is necessary.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • A basic understanding of the services offered by the CBHSSJB and awareness of other services in the community and surrounding area are essential.
  • You must be able to work effectively with our target clientele and establish strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills are required for this position.
  • A sense of accountability, resourcefulness, and vigilance is also necessary.

LANGUAGE

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Cree and English, with fluency in French being an asset.

SALARY

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
