Job Summary:Treaty One Nations Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Intergovernmental Relations Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with government agencies, indigenous communities, and organizations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain relationships with government agencies and indigenous communities
- Participate in the development of policies and programs unique to government
- Draft legal correspondence and advise professional and non-professional staff
- Direct committees and working groups working on projects and programs
- Participate in the development of policies and programs unique to government
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 3-5 years of experience in government relations or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
