Intergovernmental Relations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Intergovernmental Relations Director to join our team at Treaty One Nations Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and programs that promote effective relationships between our organization and other government agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement policies and programs to promote effective relationships between our organization and other government agencies
- Direct and advise professional and non-professional staff on intergovernmental relations matters
- Participate in the development of policies and programs unique to government
- Draft legal correspondence and reports
- Supervise a team of 5-10 people in various areas of responsibility
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Public Administration, Political Science, or Business Administration
- 3-5 years of experience in intergovernmental relations or a related field
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload and will be required to work under pressure. The position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
LanguageThe official language of this job is English.
Work TermThis is a temporary position with a work term of 80 hours bi-weekly.
