Pharmacy Assistant

Brukar Pharmacy Ltd. is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals with various tasks, including compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceutical products. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventories of medications and prescription records, processing claims, and performing general clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities- Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products
- Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records
- Process claims, such as health insurance or workers compensation
- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping
- Assist healthcare professionals with various tasks
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
