Brukar Pharmacy Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team.
Job Summary:The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will be responsible for assisting pharmacists and other healthcare professionals with various tasks, including compounding and labeling pharmaceutical products, maintaining inventory, and performing general clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products
- Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records
- Process claims, such as health insurance or workers compensation
- Collect statistics and perform general clerical duties
- Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
- Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments
- Order supplies and equipment
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Assist healthcare professionals
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience an asset
- Fast-paced environment
