Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

Brukar Pharmacy Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to our pharmacy team. This includes tasks such as compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceutical products, as well as maintaining inventories of medications and prescription records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products
  • Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records
  • Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation
  • Collect statistics
  • Perform general clerical duties
  • Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
  • Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone, and booking appointments
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Assist health care professionals
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience an asset
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Work Environment:

The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work under pressure.
