Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

Brukar Pharmacy Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations, ensuring the smooth delivery of pharmaceutical products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products with precision and accuracy.
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow management to optimize pharmacy operations.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure a clean and efficient work environment.
  • Reassemble equipment and assemble packs of sterile supplies and instruments for delivery to hospital departments.
  • Process claims, including health insurance and workers' compensation, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Collect and analyze statistics to inform pharmacy operations and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and appointment scheduling.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked pharmacy.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and efficient restocking.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with customers and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with tasks and duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
Work Environment:

Brukar Pharmacy Ltd. is a dynamic and fast-paced pharmacy environment. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with regular breaks to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

37.5 hours per week.
