Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Assistant to join our team at Chartwell Cité-Jardin 3B 5 residence for seniors. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including serving meal trays, feeding patients, and maintaining inventory of supplies.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming patients, as well as answering call signals to determine their needs.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and maintain a safe and secure environment for residents.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge in patient care.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
