Senior Cloud Architect - Toronto

Estimated Salary: CAD 160,000 - 220,000

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of large-scale cloud architecture projects in our Capital Markets division. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with project managers and solution architects to deliver cloud architecture projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data and analytics principles and methodologies, as well as experience implementing foundational cloud services (networking, security, account/organizations, logging & monitoring, identity access management, etc.). You should be familiar with DevOps practices and tools, and have experience working with GCP, AWS, Azure, and private cloud compute, storage, micro-service applications, platform serverless frameworks, API gateway, CI/CD, and cloud-based services.

You will develop detailed-level design requirements for architecture implementations, optimizing platform and integration strategies for cost-effective delivery of scalable and reliable distributed systems. Additionally, you will create delivery guides, assessments, and common architecture patterns for cloud architecture projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of data and analytics principles and methodologies
  • Experience implementing foundational cloud services
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
  • Experience working with GCP, AWS, Azure, and private cloud compute, storage, micro-service applications, platform serverless frameworks, API gateway, CI/CD, and cloud-based services
