About the Job

Systematix is seeking a skilled Cloud Architecture Solutions Leader to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. This six-month hybrid contract position offers a strong opportunity for extension based on performance.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cloud architectures, particularly in large retail environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assisting organizations with digital customer acquisition and vetting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to the solutions delivery team.
  • Provide technical leadership to expedite projects from idea creation stage, leveraging cross-project knowledge, best practices, and reusability to ensure alignment with organizational best practices and standards.
  • Work with technical systems specialists and business systems specialists to understand the current state and constraints for defining the future state architecture of applications and related interfaces.
  • Identify technical issues and risks and define mitigation approaches.
  • Sets techniques, processes, and mechanisms for architect governance within or outside of IT.
  • Creates and maintains a series of architectural diagrams and descriptions that illustrate the short- and long-term target architecture as well as the path to get from the current state to the target states.
  • Define end-to-end technical solutions that contain enterprise architecture strategies, business strategy, current state environment, and constraints.
  • Lead initiatives and act as a change agent (embraces change and helps others to embrace it).

Requirements

We require a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the IT industry with strong knowledge of cloud architectures, various technology domains, application development practices.

The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge across technology architecture domains and practices, capable of driving from strategy to architecture to design and implementation. TOGAF or equivalent certification is a definite asset.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
