Aspire Bakeries is a leading North American baking company with a strong commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and employee well-being. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, EHSS to join our team and drive our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement EHS programs and policies that meet regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety and security.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with bakery leadership to drive positive cultural changes and achieve EHS regulatory compliance, organizational goals, and continuous improvements.
  • Champion a zero-accident mentality and develop a strong safety culture within the organization.
  • Manage EHS process throughout the company, including developing and integrating written Environmental and Safety programs, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of comprehensive environmental and safety experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in safety or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian Environmental, Health, and Safety Regulations.
  • Experience supporting facilities in both Canada and USA is a plus.
