About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Security Architecture and Engineering to lead and expand our security engineering and architecture efforts. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and technical leader, responsible for driving the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of our security architecture and engineering practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Security Architecture and Engineering Team: Provide direction and mentorship to a talented group of security professionals.
- Design and Implement Robust Security Architectures: Ensure they align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Oversee the integration of security controls across all technology environments.
- Conduct Security Assessments: Provide expert analysis and recommendations to stakeholders. Ensure that security risks are identified, communicated, and effectively mitigated.
- Collaborate with Technology and Business Teams: Integrate security by design principles into all stages of development and operations. Effectively communicate security risks, strategies, and initiatives to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive Security Platform and Automation Initiatives: Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in security architecture, engineering, or a related information security role.
- At least 4 years of leadership experience within a security architecture or engineering team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical implementation.
- A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest in cybersecurity trends and technologies.
