About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Security Architecture and Engineering to lead and expand our security engineering and architecture efforts. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and technical leader, responsible for driving the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of our security architecture and engineering practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of robust security architectures, ensuring they align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the integration of security controls across all technology environments.
  • Conduct and oversee thorough security assessments, providing expert analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure that security risks are identified, communicated, and effectively mitigated.
  • Collaborate with technology, operations, and business teams to integrate security by design principles into all stages of development and operations.
  • Effectively communicate security risks, strategies, and initiatives to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive the design and implementation of security platforms, automation capabilities, and operational use cases to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in security architecture, engineering, or a related information security role.
  • At least 4 years of leadership experience within a security architecture or engineering team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical implementation.
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest in cybersecurity trends and technologies.
