Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Uniram Plastics. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our plastic products manufacturing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Production Activities
    • Direct and supervise a team of 3-4 production workers who operate processing machines and fabricate, assemble, finish, or inspect plastic or rubber parts and products.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units.
  • Prepare and Analyze Reports
    • Prepare production and other reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Improve Productivity and Quality
    • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Manage Resources
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Work Environment
    • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and equipment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
