About the Role

Aux Palais Exquis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate food and supply costs, and maintain accurate records of consumption and inventory.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menus, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and plan menus accordingly.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events, such as banquets and weddings.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Proven track record of leading a team and achieving high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Certifications in food safety and handling, and a strong understanding of kitchen operations and management.
