Overview

The Business Applications team is seeking a dedicated student for a full-time position. The primary focus of this role will be to assist in the management and support of various business applications, addressing incidents, service requests, and operational challenges. This opportunity is designed to provide valuable insights into application support practices while enhancing skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver assistance for the organization's business applications through various communication channels, including phone, in-person, and remote access;
  • Adhere to established protocols to troubleshoot and resolve incidents and requests;
  • Document and evaluate service inquiries, ensuring follow-up until resolution using the incident management system;
  • Manage security protocols for access to business applications;
  • Engage in periodic queue management, monitoring application logs and alerts;
  • Create and maintain documentation for support operations to ensure compliance with company policies.

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution;
  • Completed foundational studies in Computer Science or Programming;
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure;
  • Proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work collaboratively with minimal supervision;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Note: This position requires on-site presence to foster collaboration and enhance productivity. The approach will be reviewed as necessary.
