Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $27 to $38 per hour, plus shift premium based on experience. In addition to your base pay, you will also receive benefits including eligibility to our 3-tier medical and dental insurance programs on day of hire, RRSP, annual increase, corporate discounts, Employee Assistance Program, Referral Bonus, allowance for Safety boots and Tools, annual allowance for the purchase of tools, personal protective equipment and Shop clothing.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Mechanic - Shop Supervisor with GLS Canada. As part of our team, you will be responsible for planning, prioritizing and coordinating inspections, maintenance and repairs for vehicles and equipment. You will also coordinate with operations to plan equipment readiness and downtime, accurately explain and write all work performed and resources used into CMMS, identify the causes (diagnostics) of malfunctions and failures and plan to eliminate recurring causes, check and accurately complete work orders (time and parts taken for repairs), ensure the correct Labour times are applied for repairs and inform Supervisor if additional time/repairs are required.
