The Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our Night Shift team at Mitchell Plastics. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating molding machines, ensuring processes are running within specified tolerances, and documenting any changes or issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and start up molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and tooling as specified on the set-up master.
  • Monitor and adjust processes to ensure they are running within tolerances.
  • Notify the Production Supervisor of any issues or nonconforming processes.
  • Document all set-up changes and issues.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have a good understanding of the injection molding process and possess well-developed mechanical and technical abilities. They must be eager to learn and attend training courses, and be in good physical condition to perform tasks such as climbing into tight spaces and working at heights.

They will need to be a quality-conscious team member, dedicated to working in a neat and organized manner, and be flexible in working hours and shifts.
