Aircraft Maintenance Professional

Rise Air is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team in La Ronge, SK. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Report to the Crew Supervisor to receive work assignments and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Work a variety of scheduled shifts to accommodate maintenance requirements, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform daily inspections, pre-flight, post-flight, and quality control activities to ensure aircraft airworthiness and on-time departures.
- Ensure approved equipment and materials are utilized, and a high standard of workmanship is maintained.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized maintenance office, hangar, and shop areas.
- Attend training courses as approved and adhere to the Safety Management System (SMS) policy.
- Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum three years' progressive AME experience for M1 License, or minimum three to five years' progressive experience for M2 License.
- Ability to hold and maintain a class 5 valid driver's license.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Sound problem-solving, decision-making, analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects and tasks and execute effectively and in a timely manner.
- Strong leadership skills and a hands-on, self-motivated, and demonstrated positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize.
- Ability to support, strengthen, and enhance safety initiatives.
- Work a variety of scheduled shifts as assigned to accommodate maintenance requirements.
- Majority of the work is completed in an indoor or outdoor hangar environment.
- Ability to work on elevated workstations.
- Ability to work long, sometimes irregular hours.
- Able to prioritize and organize objectives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
- Must quickly adapt to changing assignments.
- Required to act professionally and use mature judgment.
- Ground and/or air travel required.
