**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and coordinate the work for Top Aces (TA) aircraft maintenance technicians and maintenance support staff assigned to scheduled flying operations
- Ensure that all aircraft maintenance technicians and maintenance support staff adhere to the Company MCPM, Transport Canada regulations, DND regulations, DADS Flight Safety program, DA Defence Health and Safety program and QMS processes
- Ensure availability of TA aircraft to meet, on a daily basis, operational requirements
- Report on a daily basis, to the DoM, the status of the aircraft
- Develop and maintain a Technician Manpower Schedule for local operations
- Publish weekly the Technician Manpower Schedule that reflects the latest operational requirements, with at least two (2) weeks of advance notice, if possible, when travel is required for an aircraft maintenance technician
- Ensure deployment support travel plans are arranged for employees
- Attend bi-weekly operation briefs to review the latest flying schedule and plan for new taskings or changes to existing deployments for optimum use of resource assignments
- Monitor maintenance plans on a regular basis to close all aircraft deferred and minor snags with a reasonable time frame
- Ensure good communication and strong relationships with local Base authorities and coordination teams
- Provide managerial support to the Crew Chiefs
- Ensure EHS protocols are followed through out the base
- Ensure that all RAMCO entries, during flying operations, are made in a timely manner and in accordance with the DADS MCPM
- Closely follow-up on AOG and Critical Logistics requirements and direct alternate plans if required during aircraft maintenance to ensure availability of aircraft to meet Flight Operational requirements on a daily basis
- Approve Overtime requests for Top Aces flying operations
- Travel as required to MOBs and Deployed Areas of Operations as required by the CATS manpower scheduler or the DoM
- Act as the Maintenance Duty Officer (MDO), after regular working hours, per the CATS manpower scheduler schedule
- Act as the local designated official (DO) for the Controlled Goods Program
- Represent the DoM or PRM in their absence as required
- Support strategic development projects, as required by the DoM or VP, CATS
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Perform related duties as assigned by the DoM

- S'assurer que tous les techniciens d'entretien d'aéronefs et le personnel de soutien à la maintenance adhèrent au MCPM de l'entreprise, aux règlements de Transports Canada, aux règlements du « MDN DADS Flight Safety », au programme de santé et de sécurité DA Defense et aux processus SGQ
- Assurer la disponibilité des aéronefs pour répondre, de manière quotidienne, aux exigences opérationnelles
- Rapporter quotidiennement l'état de l'aéronef au DOM
- Élaborer et tenir à jour un calendrier de la main-d'œuvre des techniciens
- Publier régulièrement le tableau de la main-d'œuvre des techniciens tenant compte des dernières exigences opérationnelles, avec, si possible, au moins deux (2) semaines de préavis lorsque les techniciens d'entretiens d'aéronefs doivent voyager;
- Assurer que les plans de voyage de soutien au déploiement sont organisés pour les employés
- Assistez à des « briefings » quotidiens avec les Opérations pour revoir le dernier horaire de vol et planifier de nouvelles tâches ou des modifications aux déploiements existants pour une utilisation optimale de la distribution des ressources.
- Surveiller les plans de maintenance sur une base régulière afin de fermer toutes les difficultés différés et mineurs avec un délai raisonnable
- Assurer une bonne communication et des relations solides avec les autorités locales de la Base et les équipes de coordination
