Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Role

Rise Air is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team in La Ronge, SK. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Crew Supervisor to receive work assignments and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Work a variety of scheduled shifts to accommodate maintenance requirements and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Complete maintenance documentation accurately and safely, maintaining close communication with senior maintenance personnel.
  • Perform daily inspections, pre-flight, post-flight, and quality control activities to ensure aircraft airworthiness and on-time departures.
  • Ensure approved equipment and materials are used, and a high standard of workmanship is maintained.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized maintenance office, hangar, and shop areas.
  • Attend training courses as approved and adhere to the Safety Management System (SMS) policy.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum three years' progressive AME experience for M1 License, or minimum three to five years' progressive experience for M2 License.
  • Ability to hold and maintain a class 5 valid driver's license.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Sound problem-solving, decision-making, analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects and tasks and execute effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Strong leadership skills and a hands-on, self-motivated, and demonstrated positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize.
  • Ability to support, strengthen, and enhance safety initiatives.
