About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Team Lead to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory and records
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
- Standing for extended periods
- Client focus, organized, reliability, and team player
