Job Summary

The Licensed Store Manager is a key leadership role within Luxottica, responsible for maximizing store sales and profits while achieving patient care objectives. This position requires a strong leader who can empower associates, drive results, and model Luxottica's commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management
    • Empower associates to make decisions and take ownership of their work
    • Drive results by conveying a sense of urgency and directing issues to closure
    • Act as a catalyst for change and work with associates to implement new ideas
  • Store Operations
    • Ensure the store consistently meets corporate and divisional expectations for sales, merchandising, customer service, and patient care
    • Aid in achieving goals through personal sales and customer/patient interaction
    • Model and enforce the use of NECE (National Eyecare Excellence) standards
  • Associate Development
    • Ensure associates are trained to perform their jobs with a high level of skill and self-initiative
    • Monitor store operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
    • Recruit, interview, and hire high-caliber sales associates to ensure proper staffing
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure the store is in compliance with all Company HR policies and practices, as well as federal and state laws and regulations
    • Use regional and Corporate HR partners to resolve issues and address associate concerns

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or GED, equivalent experience
    • Optician licensure or ABO (American Board of Opticianry) certification
    • 3+ years of leadership experience in a retail or equivalent environment
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Proven ability to lead, coach, and build associate relationships in a fast-paced environment
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope
    • Strong organizational skills for planning work and monitoring progress towards goals
    • Ability to analyze and understand financial reports
    • Strong communication skills (oral and written) for effective management of teams
