About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Advisor to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As an IT Technical Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and guidance to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our technological infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical consulting services to employees, analyzing their needs and developing solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of technical projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Provide training and support to employees on new technologies and systems.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our IT service management processes, ensuring they are aligned with industry best practices.

Requirements

  • University degree or college diploma in a related field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • Proven experience in IT technical support, with a strong understanding of ITIL methodologies and service management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
