We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Advisor to join our team at Platform Accounting Group. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert accounting and advisory services to a variety of clients, including individuals and businesses in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accounting and advisory services, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Perform general accounting duties, including transaction entry, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Utilize accounting software and systems to prepare financial reports and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
  • Develop and implement accounting systems and services for new clients.
  • Prepare payroll and payroll tax returns, as well as sales tax returns and fixed asset records.
  • Provide high-level service on complex projects, utilizing strong industry knowledge and research abilities.
  • Proactive risk and compliance assessments, and best practice recommendations to clients.
  • Oversee and review work from entry-level staff, train and manage staff accountants.
  • Manage personal and team projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in multiple clients and industries.
  • Superior accuracy and technical expertise, knowledge of client industries.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
  • Expert use of accounting software and systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and project management.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Accounting Software.
