Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geriatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Greenwood Court in Stratford. This is a full-time position reporting to the Executive Director of Greenwood Court.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality primary health care services to residents, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to promoting evidence-based practice and resident-centered care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN(EC), Nurse Practitioner (unrestricted)
  • Working knowledge of College of Nurses of Ontario standards of practice
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; emotional intelligence and strong communication skills are essential
  • Effective program development, evaluation, resource allocation, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated current expertise in geriatric care & adult chronic disease management
  • Proven ability to establish positive relationships, team building
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to the challenge of a busy environment
  • Management of inter-professional teams with effective team building skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
