We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
  • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and its services.
  • Coordinate resident transfers and discharges in a safe and timely manner.
  • Manage the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, adhering to established protocols.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and the Health Disciplines Act.
  • Medical Clearance, including TB tests, and a Vulnerable Sector Police Check.

All staff are required to adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols and wear a mask at all times.
