Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join our team at RhynoCare Healthcare. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of long-term and acute care facilities in the Burlington area.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
  • Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of resident care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Able to work with persons with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR.
  • Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) and negative TB skin test within one year.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shift times, including eight or twelve hours in length.
