Job Summary:

GardaWorld is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Armed Cash Transport Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cash services team, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of our clients' valuables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport cash and valuables to and from clients in a secure and efficient manner
  • Ensure the safety of yourself, colleagues, and clients at all times
  • Follow established routes and schedules to minimize delays
  • Operate an armored vehicle and maintain a safe driving record
  • Load and unload cash and valuables from the vehicle
  • Complete daily reports and paperwork accurately and on time
  • Adhere to company procedures and regulations
  • Carry a firearm during the performance of duties

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Federal Firearms License (PAL) and a non-restricted license
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a maximum of 6 demerit points
  • Be able to lift loads up to 50 pounds
  • Available to work days with some weekends, with no minimum guaranteed hours
  • Hold a British Columbia Security License or be willing to obtain one
  • Exhibit reliability, conscientiousness, and a commitment to safe job performance
  • Provide excellent customer service and manage stressful situations effectively
  • Be highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle pressure and tight timelines
