Job Summary:

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Cash Transport Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cash services team, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of our customers' valuables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport cash and other valuables to and from various locations, ensuring the highest level of security and integrity.
  • Operate an armored vehicle, adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures.
  • Load and unload cash and valuables, verifying their accuracy and integrity.
  • Complete daily reports and paperwork, maintaining accurate records of transportation activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to ensure seamless transportation services.

Requirements:

  • Possess a valid driver's license (class 5 minimum) with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points.
  • Hold a restricted and non-restricted Federal Firearms License (PAL, Possession and Acquisition license).
  • Be capable of lifting loads up to 50 lbs.
  • Be available to work days with some weekends, with no minimum guaranteed hours.
  • Hold a British Columbia Security License or be willing to obtain it if hired.
  • Exhibit reliability, conscientiousness, responsibility, and a commitment to safe job performance.
  • Display customer service orientation and skill in managing stressful situations.
  • Be highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  • Be eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable of coping with pressure and tight timelines.
