About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Manager to join our team at Hyundai Canada. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for enhancing and protecting the public image of Hyundai Auto Canada Corp, both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage corporate PR outreach functions and projects through a dedicated team of direct reports and agency resources.
- Devise and execute new corporate public relations plans showcasing Hyundai Auto Canada Corp, its executives, and employees.
- Crisis management communications lead in partnership with Legal.
- Develop a modern and progressive external and internal communications strategy for Hyundai Auto Canada Corp.
- Manage the team and workflow with the objective of proactively generating stories that solicit coverage about the company, executive team, and employees.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in the same or similar positions.
- Completion of an undergraduate degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Exemplary oral and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of Canadian and global media and trends.
- Knowledge of Public Relations best practices.
- Excellent project management skills/logistics.
- Enthusiasm for and knowledge of the automotive sector.
- Knowledge of and experienced in crisis communications management and best practice.
- Demonstrable track record of generating positive, measurable and opinion-changing initiatives.
- Budget and performance management best practices.
- Team management experience.
- Bilingual in French (preferred).
