Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

**About the Job:**
Select Sandwich Corporate Catering is seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service establishment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless operation of our cafeteria, coffee shop, and catering services* Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including kitchen and food service helpers* Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high standards of quality control* Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and manage inventory effectively* Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customers' complaints or concerns* Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required* Prepare and submit detailed food order summaries for our chef* Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys* Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to ensure efficient use of resources* Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to help them develop their skills and expertise* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and minimize disruptions* Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity* Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication among staff members* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies* Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to staff members* Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain a competitive edge* Perform other related duties as assigned by management*

**Requirements:**
* 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or a related field* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff members* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 25 lbs)* Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays* High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in hospitality, business administration, or a related field is an asset* Language: English ( fluency is required )
