Job Summary

Chateau Quality Drycleaners Corporation is seeking a skilled Dry Cleaning Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of dry cleaning and laundry services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cleaning Equipment: Safely operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines to ensure efficient and effective cleaning processes.
  • Mix and Apply Cleaning Solutions: Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to achieve optimal cleaning results.
  • Hand Finish and Fold: Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to ensure they are presented in a clean and tidy manner.
  • Iron and Press: Hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments to achieve a crisp and smooth finish.
  • Assemble and Bag Finished Articles: Assemble and bag finished articles to ensure they are ready for collection by clients.
  • Quality Control: Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Record Keeping: Record any damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles to maintain accurate records.
  • Touch-ups: Use a hand-held steam iron to touch up finished garments and other articles to ensure they are presented in the best possible condition.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
