Job Title: Associate Lawyer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Associate Lawyer with at least 2+ years of experience to join our team at Ignite Talent Solutions. As an Associate Lawyer, you will provide legal counsel and guidance to clients, conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues, draft legal documents, and maintain accurate and up-to-date case files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
  • Qualify for this role, candidates must hold a license to practice law in Ontario and be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • Candidates should have two to five years of experience in criminal law, with experience in impaired driving cases being an asset
  • Strong advocacy and courtroom skills are essential, along with a thorough understanding and expertise in criminal defense matters, including charges, trials, and pleas
