Job Title: Pharmacy Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operations of the pharmacy, providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, and practicing to full scope in providing professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pharmacy Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing medication, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including counseling on prescriptions and over-the-counter products, and ensuring customer confidentiality and consent management.
- Professional Services: Practice to full extent of expanded scope with Professional Services, within your capability, and communicate with other healthcare professionals within the circle of care to provide customer care.
- Workflow and Inventory Management: Control access to the dispensary with respect to inventory and patient confidentiality, review and maintain workflow queues, and oversee current stock levels and medication orders from wholesalers.
- Operations: Ensure entry/pickup workstations, counselling/waiting areas, and work islands reflect an appropriate image of the pharmacy, and involve with financial reports as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Independent Thinking and Decision Making: Make decisions when dealing with issues or problems.
- Leadership and Management: Plan, coordinate, and delegate assignments, and provide coaching to pharmacy colleagues.
- Customer Relations: Provide exceptional customer service, and have strong customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism.
- Problem-Solving: Formulate and execute action plans, and have strong problem-solving skills.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed to provide a healthy and safe work environment.
