About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Royal Ambassador Event Centre and The Consulate Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Prepare and submit reports on food quality and inventory
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure timely delivery
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, and sales
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Language
    • Fluent in English

The Royal Ambassador Event Centre and The Consulate Restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
