Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that our food service operations are financially sustainable.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
    • Prepare and submit reports, providing regular updates on food service performance and operations.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus and excellent oral communication skills.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and flexibility.
    • Team player with a strong work ethic.
