Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to Subway's high standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and preferences.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant data.
    • Manage budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that expenses are minimized and resources are optimized.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and excellent oral communication skills.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and flexibility.
    • Team player with a strong work ethic.
