Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor

At Seasons Retirement Communities, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our care services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
  • Supervise and mentor care staff, providing guidance and education to ensure excellent care services are delivered to our residents.
  • Conduct assessments of residents moving into our community and follow up with residents throughout their stay to ensure their needs are met.
  • Establish priorities based on individual resident needs and ensure compliance with resident assessments and service plans.
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate records, adhering to community-specific policies and Alberta Health Services regulations.
  • Risk manage by conducting thorough monthly care-related audits.
Requirements:
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with CLPNA.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations.
  • Experience working with seniors in a retirement or long-term care facility environment is considered an asset.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
